(Accessories) – Duct Attenuator
Duct Silencer is also commonly known as sound at-attenuator. CLLS attenuators are an engineered product to control the airborne noise into and out of noisy environment such as the generator room. We have a range of standard noise reduction attenuators for application from hospital, hotels, residential to industrial applications at wherever noise control is needed, to your desired noise level.
Together with our other noise reduction product such as silencer, we take care of noise control, air flow within the room and pressure drop. We optimized the design and engineering of our attenuators to ensure safety, comfort and assist you in complying with the environmental regulations and standards.
CLLS attenuators construction consists of an outer skin of galvanized G90 steel. Inner splitters/baffles are manufactured of perforated galvanized G90 steel also include an acoustic rockwool or fiberglass.
The splitters thicker are designed with different thickness. The thicker splitters are designed for lower frequencies to maximize the performance and noise reduction efficiency.
Low noise level achievement has always been one of the key features of building design. In recent years noise control has become an important criteria due to increasing environmental awareness and the effects of noise on health, safety, comfort and efficiency. Control of the acoustical environment in a building means that all of the factors that may lead to noise problems must be fully considered. This means noise control of HVAC systems, controlling transmission of sound between rooms, protecting hallways, offices and other structures from high noise areas, and providing maximum privacy where needed.
Manufactures new range of Sound Attenuators by adopting latest manufacturing techniques in fabrication and by using software for selecting proper and economical attenuators which are vastly used for both HVAC and industrial applications for either reducing or minimizing the generated noise.
We also customized the attenuator to suit your building and applications requirements. We provide room design, sizing of attenuator, air flow and pressure drop calculation.
Typical Sound Attenuators applications:
- Generator Rooms in Commercial & Industrial Sectors
- Cooling Towers & Chiller Yards
- Attenuators for Fans & Blowers
- Acoustic enclosure ventilations
- Electrical Substations
- Barrier Wall Systems
- Plant room ventilation.
- Air conditioning installations.
- Commercial and Industrial Duct Systems
CONSTRUCTION:
- Casing: High quality galvanized steel sheet of 0.8mm thickness (standard); up to 1.2mm for bigger sizes.
- Splitters/Baffles: “Bull-Nose” construction using perforated galvanized steel sheet of 0.5mm thickness. Splitter width is as per the CLLS standard.
- Acoustic Media: Inorganic, fire resistant, vermin and moisture proof sound absorbent rock wool of 60kg/m3 density.
- Linear: Single faced to prevent the media from entering into the air stream.
- Flange: Flanges on both side of attenuator
Description:
- Aerodynamically designed to ensure maximum insertion loss and minimal pressure drop. Air-gap and length of silencer are selected to meet the required NC level.
- Sturdy construction and high noise absorbing capacity to obtain required insertion loss without compromising performance. Manufactured to ensure long and maintenance free service.
- Splitters are radiuses at both ends giving a bell mouth entry-exit to minimize self-generated noise and pressure loss.
- Full width splitters in the middle and half width side splitters.
- Casing construction with lock formed seams meet SMACNA standards thus providing excellent strength and rigidity thoroughly sealed to prevent air leakage.
- Flange connection (standard) on both ends as standard supply.
